American Football is a sport that might not be seen in the vast majority of the world at any given point in time but it is nonetheless an athletic endeavor that is growing in popularity in some way, shape or form. The New England Patriots are among the most exciting football teams out there right now, and a major contributor to this was their former quarterback Tom Brady who was widely seen as the most influential quarterback of his era. Now that Brady has retired, the Patriots have started to search for someone or the other that would actually be capable of replacing him. While they tried out the very experienced and talented Cam Newton for a little while, they have made the somewhat surprising decision to release him from this role.

Instead of Newton, they will now be using Mac Jones as their starter and quarterback. This is surprising when you consider that he is still a rookie, but he has performed really well so far and has won hearts and mines for his never say die attitude. While only time will tell if he is up to the task of replacing the legend that was Tom Brady and filling his massive shoes, he has gotten off to an amazing start and he has nowhere to go but up for a little while.
